In no particular order...

Work more on my social skills. I have a hard time maintaining eye contact while talking. Also try to work on my voice inflection and body language. Difficult for me, but I'll work on it.

Keep working on the book. Slow, but steady. Only a page or two a week, but much better than I used to be.

Keep working on my retirement. This is making progress and I am content with how things are moving right now.

I keep have the recurring dream of living somewhere in a very secluded place. I don't seem to get along all that great with our species, and to be honest I grow tired of pretending the small talk and putting up with people and their empty conversations.

Lose more weight.

I would like to go back to Florida and just sit on the beaches like I used to. I could sit down there for hours and just listen to the ocean, watch the sunset and be utterly alone and very content. I should get back down there in the next few years.

Looking forward to spring time this year. Hopefully I'll have a better garden this year than last.

I'd like to, for the most part chronologically:

-Get all A's in the last two semesters here in college and in law school.
-Get into all the schools I applied to.
-Pass the bar on the first try.
-Shut down the JRC and other "gulag schools" like it.
-Make it so kids can't be forced through non-medically necessary treatment or procedures without consent.
-Have friends and perhaps a soulmate companion who will be with me for our entire lives.
-Have several pets.
-Do something big with my creative skills and get my stories and characters out there.

Well thank you buddy for your advice...

True... but that's also true of swingers and polyamorous people and others for whom the term "alternative lifestyle" was coined. :)

Everybody says we're shallow, withdrawn, unimaginative, timid, afraid and unmotivated. Is that really a true description of our goals and ambitions? From what we've seen here it sure isn't.
Can you imagine if only half of us reach even a quarter of our goals what it would mean for other people we've never even met?

I really like that idea. :)

I actually started coming here back in 06 but was terrified to make more than one or two posts. It seemed like each topic was dominated by certain posters who tried to control or distort what you could say and it was very intimidating. It's much better now since people can honestly say what they think and what they aspire to and not be held down by sterotypes.

Not that we don't still have some heated debates. :)

Was that directed at me? If so, no I haven't met Millie, at least not in real life.

- Continue to work in my garden. I want to expand more deeply into growing vegetables and grains, in addition to my fruit trees. The eventual goal is to grow enough edible things to rarely have to buy food.

- Continue to raise my son in the best way I know how.

- End the painful living situation and non-existant relationship with his mother.

- Move to a quiet, rural area.

- Continue to play and produce my music, even if no one listens to it.

- Get a Master's Degree in Botany or Horticulture.

- Get a job in one of those fields.

- Improve my relationships with family members.

- Make some friends. Any would be fine, but ones with shared interests would be even better.

- Continue to try and understand myself, and how I work.

- Always be mindful of what I believe to be spiritually true about the nature of existence.

I also want to learn how to meet people in real life. I have no problem over the internet, but that is not sufficient for the social inteeraction I know I need.

I was thinking "good luck!" ... personally I can't see myself wanting someone to come at me with a broken bottle. But what the hell... Hemingway fought bulls, so...
