Wow that is messed up...he should not get charged with anything. I mean the dude tried to calmly walk away after the cop harrased him and then the cop basically attacks him and he defends himself. but the world is f*cked up so what do you expect.

I hope this young man gets the proper therapy he needs also in a good mental health facility. But since there is no evidence, no video they will have a hard time proving that this police officer told this Autistic teen "“I will blow your f****** head off, ni***r&q". I'm not taking sides on this either because of the lack of evidence.

However, the law needs to make sure Autistic folks are put in mental health facilities instead of prisons where they don't get any help for issues related to Autism. Also, parents and law enforcement alike need to take note of any Autism related activities such as obsessions in firearms, the artwork on the bedroom walls and even check the computer for threatening messages.

The signs were sure there when James Holmes who is suspected of being on the Autism Spectrum before he murdered a bunch of theatre goers, but no one acted on them.

Stories like this seem to prove how the ignorance & fear of persons whom have absolutely no knowledge of autism or it's variants often wind up causing caustic circumstances unto people whom are simply law abiding citizens like myself.. In fact, speaking from a honest and straightforward perspective I,myself have had an disheartening encounter with local police in my community which all had to do with a erroneous report that pointed me out as someone who was carjacking people. I don't make this nor fabricate this retelling of such encounter so, I'm not pleased with other autistic persons find themselves in harsh and dehumanizing scenarios..
