Heh. No, it's not illegal. Whoever told you that was kidding you.

It might not be smart for some people with AS to drink alcohol, but it's not illegal unless it's illegal for some other reason--like being too young for whatever laws in your area to allow it.

Absolutely Absurd

Most bullies resort to mythological tactics, don't consider anything this person says regarding aspergers to be factual. Perhaps only joking, but an outright lie regardless, funny or not.
Furthermore, if they lie to your face, they will tell even bigger lies behind your back.

That's one of the most ridiculous things i've ever heard. In the USA, if you are over 21 anyone can drink alcohol. If your underage, don't get caught.

Uh yeah.

And it's illegal for aspies to go to parties, drive, have friends, talk on the phone, use sarcasm. Violate any of this and you have to pay M&Ms.

If it was, the courts would strike it down as being unconstitutional.

Lock me up and throw away the key, then!

Oh, wait, I'm Canadian. I'm pretty sure I have a Charter right to have a beer at the hockey game.

Perhaps should be, given how I act when drunk. :D

Someone 'in recovery' once told me that if alcohol is causing you problems then alcohol IS the problem.

I am starting to believe that the problems that can be caused by alcohol are made worse with AS, at least.............in my case

Hehehe!! That's me.

To the OP, it's not illegal as long as you abide by your state/providence or countries alcohol laws....and excluding individuals with AS to imbibe in alcohol is not one of them.

Happy drinking! :P
