I have to say that many people like to pry to much. I hate it when they especially want to know lots of biographical details such as when and where I was born, how old where my parents when they had me, is all of my family from the same place, blah, blah, blah.
For one, my date of birth shouldn't concern people unless I want to reveal it. Second, I was born in a country that my ancestors are not originally from and spend about the first year of my life in that country. Then we moved a lot until I was ten when we settled somewhere for a long time.
I hate having to explain all of my life story to people, especially ones I don't know very well. Do yu guys find this thing similarly annoying?

Yes. I don't reference the past much usually so I don't like it when other people ask me to do that. I get the impression they think they will be able to know me through a recitation of the past, when I'm right there and can be understood as I am now, which is all that's relevant IMO.

It drives me crazy when people ask me those types of questions. What do they need the information for, anyways?

Well it all started on Gallifrey when I was genetically engineered to grow inside a loom...

I mean, yeah, I hate it too. Stop prying, you priers.

Ive got an opposite reaction to this.

I really dont mind sharing any past events with people. In fact, I do it way too much. I like to relate current situations with past memories, usually only because Ive found a strong connection between the two in my mind. To me, its a great way to relate with people, but I think I probably come off as self-centered, off-topic, and overly personal.

X2, I do exactly the same thing even though I'm aware of it and try to curb it. The one thing I dislike is people who want to use my first name when I'm performing a customer service job, I refuse to give my name when answering the phone or providing service just to avoid that.

I just make stuff up. Anyone who lived in the 80's and didn't live under a rock and has at least two brain cells should know 8675309 isn't my actual phone number.

I hate talking about that stuff, they could use it for identity theft.

Making stuff up is a good way to go about it.

I've never really been in a situation where people asked those kinds of things, luckily. But I can't imagine it would bother me much, unless it was a stranger asking me for some sort of social reason. I hate it when people ask me personal questions, i.e. "Where do you work?", "Do you have a boyfriend?" etc.

If anyone stole my identity, they'd probably pay me to take it back!
