Is anyone else shy towards people?

I've had this problem for a good long time and I sometimes can't stand this but lately, I've been really shy to talk to this person who I suspect she could be an aspie because it seems she kinda shows some of the symptoms, she doesn't really hang out with anyone and I always seem to see her sitting there alone and I always feel like saying hi and making her feel welcome but the only problem is, I would end up getting really shy.

I don't fancy her or have any crush on her, I just feel like doing something good for a change and I feel I could just be friends or something because she sounds like the person who probably knows how I feel and everything as living as an aspie. (Maybe I could be wrong?)

Any advice?

I think just about every aspie goes through shyness. I'm growing out of it just a bit, but I'm still a pretty shy guy.

Normal people scare me.

I think that shyness is pretty common with Aspies. I know that I am extremely shy, and I don't like to start conversations with people.

As far as the person that you want to help: If she is an Aspie, she probably has some special interests, which may be pretty obvious. If you see something that could be related to a special interest like a book or an unusual article of clothing, you can just ask her about it.

No I'm just disinterested.
