This is the only forum I go to but the most annoying to me is the one with the Howard Dean...anti Democratic one really bothers me and I get a little annoyed with the "sexy women" ones...It isnt really a feminist thing it is just not needing to be reminded that I am not that sexy...

If it moves, it drives me up the wall, ass first. Sorry Krex, but I will continue to use women for avies. I happen to like women, especially sexy, celebrity ones. That doesn't take anything away from you. You happen to be real, intelligent and down to earth, and that is even more sexy than celebrity.

Good choice! Absolutely any part of it, from any angle would make an amazing abstract avatar. Or the whole thing would be good, but it would appear small, because of the format/aspect ratio.

If "it" appears small in this case, it's because it is small. The ancient Greeks and Romans idealised a "less developed" body, and Michelangelo copied this in that work.

I would prefer a forum with no avatars, but since everyone has to have one I just thought I would have run with the pack and have one as well.

I'm not sexy either, but I gave up caring a long time ago. There are far better things to judge you self-worth on, like wisdom and ethics - things you can actually improve without self-induced illnesses or dangerous surgery. Don't let society's emaciophilic tendencies ruin your opinion of yourself. They don't matter.

I'd say avatars that irritate me are ones large enough to alter the layout of the page. So long as they don't go that far, I don't care. People using sexy women avatars don't bother me personally, so long as they don't whine when people mistaken them for a girl.
