it seems to me that a lot of people think that autism is a physical structure in the brain and not a label based on behavioral criteria, which is weird. what do you think?

It's actually both. The behavioral differences are caused by the structural differences in how the brain develops, which causes certain connections to be either over-made or under-made, or even non-existent.

There is a lot of misinformation about Autism. If people are not critical about it, they will end up having a lot of prejudices against Autists.

The biggest misconception is that autism is a specific disease. It's not, it's just a lable for a set of behaviors. Autism is no one thing.

We have so many debates on what Autism is because even the mental health professionals can't even agree on anything. What is someone on the Autism spectrum to believe? :?

i guess in the end it is a meaningless question because life is without meaning and there are no answers.
