Okay, so from what I can read in the background of the "make and account" popup, this is a 42-part fanfic about Justin Bieber having autism and experiencing his first erection at age 20. I don't know how to react to this.

The description sounded like a parody and I am too lazy right now to make an account to read it.

This is the funniest thing I've seen all week, I'll probably show it to a bunch of friends and thanks, Wattpad, but this is the last thing I would ever want on my Facebook if I still had one.

I hope this ends up on reddit /nosleep...

I kind of want to write a fanfiction too.

I clicked on the link- this is an accurate description of what was presented therein ... dear god. I don't know what to say/what to think just ugh.
Autism... fanfiction, NEVER thought I would read about that EVER.

I made an account with my throwaway email address so I could take a look. I got to part nine before I gave up. It's pretty weird, and a terrible portrayal of autism. It's basically just a super shy kid who flits between acting like a five-year-old child, and being romantically interested in a girl he meets, who does weird crap like kissing him to distract him from things that are bothering or scaring him. I'd like autism based fanfics a lot more if people didn't do such a terrible job of writing them. I've read a couple about Criminal Minds' Spencer Reid that were pretty okay.

You should have seen the part where he cries about his erection and asks his mother to help him... His mother informs him that she can't help him with it and tells him to rub it out.

My jaw was literally on the ground when I read it. Atrocious. Simply atrocious.

I think I saw a rage comic that was basically that once. Except the kid was, like, seven.

Goodness me! Seven years old? I didn't know that could happen. LMAO
And those rage comics are hilarious. XD

Not the first time a person attempted to write about a subject s/he knew nothing about.

It also may just be a way to pick on Justin Bieber, which appears to be a national passtime. (My boss, who is Canadian, once said to me, "By the way...Justin Bieber? We up here are all sorry about that" and I replied, "That's okay, you make up for it with Geddy Lee.")

I also once saw some site with lesbians who claim to look like Bieber. I can't remember where I saw a reference to that but I clicked on the link and actually, some of them did. But again, I'm taking that site as sort of a joke. I think the slight was, he's supposed to look girlish?

I actually don't know the first thing about Bieber, I know he has/had a haircut that people used to pick on, and I guess he sings? I've never heard any of his songs. But I do know that he makes headlines all the time and that people pick on him to death for whatever reason so I'll bet this "fanfic" is basically just a joke sort of thing and a slam against Bieber, using a sort of facetious "accusation" of him as being autistic (apparently not portrayed very well). That's just my guess; I could be wrong.

The whole concept is alien to me.

So this link is my introduction to the whole subculture of fanfiction. And its a VERY strange introduction indeed.

What a strange literary concept! Write about a condition that you dont know anything about. Andthen project that condition onto a celebrity who probably doesnt have it.

I think I will write a novel about Abraham Lincoln having tourettes syndrome!

I actually like reading Fanfiction that feature autism. If they are well written
On fanfiction.net I manage a community of fanfiction that feature autism and other disabilities. Some are really good some are unfortunately unfinished.
