The elderly. I already have worked in care and found it an enjoyable experience until I started noticing the abuse that occurred and got fired for saying something to a few other staff members. I have always got on with older people, even as a child. I find babies abhorrent due to the amount of noise they make...and they tend to need changing more often than the elderly, that is for sure.

Neither of them are the least bit appealing to me.

I work with both and i find the elderly, in general, are very quick to put down young people like today i was given a job to pick up an elderly lady from her house but when i arrived you should have seen the look on her face when she seen it was a young man as a taxi driver. Babies however dont give a damn they just love the ride plain and simple. Yes they do make a lot of noise and a lot of mess but are smaller. Plus i can make eye contact with toddlers and kids.

The elderly - at least I can't influence the rest of thier lives - which maybe short... and I have previously worked with the elderly,, once you get past the smell it's actually quit enlightening ,, and the influence that they have on me is very positive - we can learn alot from our elders... it's a shame the Baby Boomer's have shoved thier parents into homes... these people would have lived with dignity as little as 30years ago,, passing away in the surrounds of thier close family.

I guess the elderly - at least they might have something of value to say. But, if we're probably talking about someone who is unable to take care of themselves - like working as a PCA, I guess babies, 'cause I'd find wiping an old person really gross.

Babies for sure. I have had two of my own and I like little ones.

Neither. I like babies, but would be afraid of doing something wrong. I get along well with people older than myself. I suppose if I had the choice, I would help an elderly person, especially if they had pets that needed care.

The elderly, because I can learn a lot from older people.
