Hi, I'm an Aspie girl in my Junior year. I have been getting increasingly extroverted, and it's a little weird.
When I was younger, I hated lunch because of the loud, tortuous cafeteria. I had very acute senses, including a very strong sense of smell, and in general could not stand loud noises and was annoyed by people. As I got older, I became lonely and sought out friends. In the sixth grade, I went to a dance with loud music and strobe lights. I felt dizzy, but didn't mind. I like music.
I joined drama club last year and really enjoyed it! Everyone was cuddling with each other, and it was really fun. I went out for dinner with kids from there twice. I liked the first time, just with kids I knew. The second time, it was twelve a.m and I could barely talk to anyone... But I still liked it? It was loud, and I gladly left tired, but the life of a bunch of kids chatting in the middle of the night alone over food was fun.
I also was talking with a bunch of my friends a while ago, and the rest of my day was happy.
Then homecoming came, and I was tired, but it was fun. Crowds, loud music, lights, but I was okay?
I still have issues with normal loud noises, house noises, people's voices, etc. I just like people.
My special interest is in people, too. Could that have anything to do with it?
