I left high school 1.5 years ago because of my social anxiety and decrease of my school marks. And now i finished open high school. Now i'm wondering if it's weird to follow some of my high school friends on twitter or instagram. Is it weird and will they follow me back if i do. If they follow me back ill be happier and more confident. if they dont ill feel disappointed and unconfident. please help me about this.

edit: i know you are tired of my threads but this is important for me

It's not necessarily weird.

Do it if you want to.

Don't overthink it.

Yes, it'll feel awkward and possibly upsetting if they don't follow you back.

If you can handle that possibility than don't let it stop you.

Why not start small? Do it with one or two people and see how it goes.

I completed 2 waves of follow tasks and in each phase i followed 2 people. For example last week i followed two people, so i completed phase 1. And this week i followed another 2 people (phase 2).

3 of 4 followed me back, but i am disappointed because 1 of them didn't follow me back. So i stopped following people and i thought they dont want me anymore.

Should i follow some more friends? I want to start a new phase and follow more friends. But i doubt.

And another question on my mind: is it weird if i follow a girl who i met in high school and we were in the same class, is it misunderstandable?

I wouldn't bother, they are unlikely to say much to do you if you haven't spoken to them in several years.

Don't expect too much to come out of it. The fact that they haven't contacted you tells you all you need to know.
