Scholarships for people with autism
Hi there everybody
I hope you're all having a good day
I've just finished my Master's Degree in Political Science, writing a thesis about nonviolent revolution/civil resistance. I would really like to pursue this to phd level, and there are many scholarships out there in England and America and Germany etc., all conditional on moving to those countries. Unfortunately, I don't like change. Almost every time I've moved city/country for work/study I've fallen into a big depression and on a few occasions, dropped out of uni/serious jobs. It's really important to me to stay in the country where I've lived the past 4 years, in my house, near my boyfriend and other home comforts.
Does anybody know if there are any scholarships for people with ASD/Aspergers that would enable me to do do a phd here in Portugal (Europe)? I'd also be interested to know if there are scholarships for courses done via distance learning, as I've just applied for a post-grad course in social science research methodology and also don't think I can afford the fees for it The scholarships don't have to just be for Aspie students, but just a scholarship that would enable me to keep studying political science here in Portugal. I am female, and my grades are not an issue, I'm a straight A, top-of-the-class kind of girl.
I would be really grateful for any info. Thanks!
