My watch got broken. I will buy a new watch but i'm afraid of talking to people. So it's hard for me to go to shopping mall and ask for a watch.

Does this happen to you? I am shy and unconfident, how can i avoid this

Hi Awkward,

What exactly do you think will happen? A lot of people are shy, and shopkeepers will surely have encountered people like you -- as well as people of every different sort of personality.

Really think about what is worrying you. Being quiet is fine!

You can buy a watch on-line, and often get a better deal. Some problems are easier to fix instead. However, shyness is a handicap worth reducing. How did it start? Do you find people unpredictable? Do you have trouble being understood, and not being rude? Shopkeepers provide a safe way to practice, because they are always hoping to make a sale, no matter how different the customer, and you can always just leave.
