Stories that resonate with autistic people?

Not an "which fictional characters are autistic" thread, but what stories do autistic people find resonate with them, regardless of whether any the characters themselves are autistic?

For example (and I have to bring this up, being at present *slightly* obsessed with Elsa... again), I can relate to the storyline in Frozen of being socially isolated because of a choice my parents made in response to being different from the other children. I'm sure I won't be the only autist for whom this is a familiar tale.

So, any thoughts?

I admired the chief engineer in Heinlein's "The Door Into Summer." Earlier, Sherlock Holmes was a role model for me. I was also inspired by Shevek, in LeGuin's "The Dispossessed"

When I was about six, I dis not know why, but when the teacher read to us "The Ugly Duckling", I thougjt "That's me!"

I like stories that don't have a lot of characters, dialog, or drama because I'm not very interested in people on a personal level and because I find drama tiring and unrewarding.

The really special stories, the ones that actually resonate with me, are the ones with one character who has to figure out a detailed environment and uses her wits to do so in the context of an adventure. So I like very old U.S. science fiction.

I can't remember ever having "resonated" with any characters.

Well if we're talking non-fiction, there's a really interesting book called "A Pattern Language", which is about planning and designing buildings and the spaces around them. It was interesting to me, anyway.

In fiction, I like stories about the achievement of outsiders and underdogs.
So I felt kinship with the hobbits in the Lord of the Rings because despite being small they were good-hearted, brave and determined.
And recently I've enjoyed the Murderbot books, which star a bot-human construct who just wants to watch media all day but ends up saving humans instead. Murderbot resonates with me, I think of it as being autistic.

When I was a teenager I enjoyed Heinlein stories also, my favourites were "Starman Jones" and "Farmer in the Sky". I enjoyed the idea of exploring other planets with different fauna and climate. The idea of turning barren alien landscapes into viable farmland fascinated me.
