I was very interested in a French marathon runner, Alain Mimoun, a contemporary of Czech runner Emil Zatopek.

I am a Quebecophile. I am interested in the history of the Canadian province of Quebec.

I've had an interest in the history and architecture of France. I read a book about Louie XIV. And I liked visting Paris hotel when I lived in Las Vegas.

I very often listen to French cafe music because it's relaxing, and I love the accordion/concertina and mandolin (I play both). Pink Martini, while not French but is that type of music, is my favorite. And I absolutely love 20s Paris because all the great artists, writers, etc. seemed to gravitate there. To think that so much genius was in one city at one time!

When did you live in Las Vegas and what did you think about it. Happy New Years Eve Ezra.

I missed this. I grew up in Las Vegas until I was 13. I did not like the desert much. I like living in the Pacific Northwest much more. Thanks.

That's okay it can take some time. What was the book that you read on Louis XIV?
