Cant make sense of diagnose F84.8

Hello.
I am still a bit confused about my diagnose and will ask about it when i go to therapy next time.
But does anyone have any idea what this means (what the internet says about f84.:


F84.8 Other pervasive developmental disorders

F84.9 Pervasive developmental disorder, unspecified

This is a residual diagnostic category that should be used for disorders which fit the general description for pervasive developmental disorders but in which a lack of adequate information, or contradictory findings, means that the criteria for any of the other F84 codes cannot be met.


HELP??? WHAT DOES THIS MEAN I DO NOT KNOW AND IT MAKES ME ANXIOUS

PS. In the icd-9 the code i am referring to is 299.80, and i believe it is the same thing as PDD-NOS (299.80) in the DSM IV

That sounds about right.

We're using the DSM-V now in the US.
