People talk to me like I'm a child because of my shyness
Does anyone else feel like their being talked to a child because they don't talk much? I'm not sure if I have autism or aspergers but I suffer from social anxiety. I can talk to people and hold a conversation if I'm being treated equally or just being talked to like an adult. It frustrates me so much. I have friends, family and teachers that fully know who I am and know that I'm incredibly socially anxious in situations but treat me the same way as anybody else and it makes me feel relieved. I don't really fit into the 'norm' of my school, I used to be so self-concious about it but now I just don't care but when I see someone like one of my teachers, I get so annoyed and it just makes me angry. Would it helped if I confronted them about it? This is the #1 thing eating away at me. Does anyone else get this from people? I feel very alone as no one else in my school is this socially anxious.
I get dat all da time from MA mom. She talks & @ times even treats me as a child overlooking my actual age. She will treat me as if I am 20 heads my younger, seriously!! ! And it is getting VERY ANNLYING!! ! I had to be tough witbher 2 not call me things as my baby & so forth, just angers me thinking about it!! !! And she overworries bout myself way 2 much, from what I eat to how I dress, how I look, my style(hair & facial)
