I'm a great Jules Verne fan, probably Around the World in 80 days is my favourite. I am also trying to read as much Orwell as I can find, just finished Coming Up for Air, whi9ch was very interesting some of the philosophies were coming out that would manifest in 1984.

I am reading Moll Flanders at the moment, by Daniel Defoe. Considering it was written in 1722 it's quite a racy novel.

I also just read The Jewel of the Seven Stars by Bram Stoker - my word, this guy is the complete master of the Gothic.

My #2 favorite of his behind Dracula. Shame it's not more well-known.

Spellcaster by Claudia Gray

It seemed like a really interesting book. I'm into fictional stuff, but I love anything to do with fantasy, magic and paranormal as well.

Made an excellent movie. I picked up a copy of the book after watching it, but haven't gotten around to it yet. It's too bad the movie probably won't get a sequel, but at least I know the book got some. They should really do a TV series.

I just started it not too long ago. Courtroom dramas are not really what I read frequently, but I did hear the movie was good and I got the book cheap. It seems interesting so far.

Picked this up a couple of years ago when it was published but it's just been sitting on a shelf. Since there are no real Godzilla novels (not counting novelizations of movies and young adult novels), I guess this is the next best thing. I've been told that it's more original than the Cloverfield rip-off cover art would have one believe. The 2014 movie has got me in a Godzilla mood, re-watching all the old stuff on DVD and Blu-ray, so I guess now is as good a time as any to finally sink into this.

I'm rereading New Tales Of The Cthulhu Mythos. Not really all that new anthology of short Lovecraftian fiction anymore, as it had been published in 1980. Still, the stories are first rate horror. I've just been in a Lovecraft sort of mood for a while now.

I've got a whole shelf full of Lovecraft books. He's one of the phases I go through for a month or two every year. Next month The New Annotated H. P. Lovecraft will be coming out. I've got The New Annotated Sherlock Holmes and The New Annotated Dracula from the same editor and love them both. Can't wait.
