My reader is doing a great job. It is such a treat to listen to my writings being professionally narrated. I hope that people will want to buy it. The book is very timely, with the immigration raids ongoing throughout the country.

One of my short stories is now available on audio. I did my own narration. You can listen to the sample of my narration, if you want. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CPMDFF38

My book (Liberal Tears) will be in the local library. The librarian thought that it was very funny.

ACX gave me a bunch of promo codes. I don't know what to do with them.

Mark them, and a notice of your book will be sent to the reviewers named on them. Possibly they will give your audiobook a listen to, and give it a review. Free publicity.

I don't see reviewers named on them. Is it somewhere associated with the promo code? Am I supposed to give the codes to people I know (I don't really know anyone)? Or does ACX have lists of reviewers somewhere? I entered a promo code, and it is set up for me to listen to. I don't need to listen to it again.

Just redeem them, and they'll be sent out to whichever reviewer chooses to take interest. Admittedly, I've only had a few reviewers showing interest in my stuff, but you may have better luck than me.

Forgive me for be inarticulate at the moment. I barely understand the things myself! I suggest contacting ACX directly for a firmer understanding than I can give you. I'm currently fighting a stomach bug that's got me foggy brained.

Basically, I know if some reviewer bites if I see something left on Audible for my audiobooks. Otherwise, I wouldn't know if anyone even responded to any of my promo codes! Sorry if I haven't been much help. Feeling pretty miserable at the moment.

ACX provided this video

It looks like you have actively to submit the promo codes to reviewers.

https://help.acx.com/s/article/promo-codes

Quote:
Where to distribute promo codes:

Distributing promo codes is a great way to share free copies of your audiobook with fans and reviewers alike! We recommend sharing promo codes with:

--Audiobook reviewers
--Readers/listeners
--Your publicity & marketing team
--Fans and followers on social media

You can contact reviewers or beta listeners directly with a promo code for your audiobook, conduct giveaways, or instruct interested fans to contact you for a free copy of your audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

The instructions associated with the list of promo codes say

Quote:
Send the codes below to reviewers & fans. You can request up to 25 more codes per
marketplace after at least 10 codes for this title have been redeemed.

Here, for example, is what is copied when I click "copy" next to a promo code.

Quote:
Please enjoy one free audio review copy of Heaven's Queens, now available on Audible. Redeem the one-time use code below at https://www.audible.com/acx-promo

Also

Quote:
Please enjoy one free audio review copy of The Death of a Christian Economist, now available on Audible. Redeem the one-time use code below at https://www.audible.com/acx-promo

If you weren't taking an active role in finding reviewers, then my guess is that your narrators could be thanked for getting people to review your books.

Anyway, feel free to listen to my two short stories for free, with the above codes.
