My personal favorite rock song would have to be "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen.

If you choose the option, "None of the above songs - My favorite rock song is not listed", specify the name of your favorite rock song.

All of the listed songs are a type of rock song (i.e. punk rock, alternative rock, etc), it doesn't have to be just a solely rock song.

Thanks :).

The show must go on by Queen

Where are all of the classic rock bands? Many of these songs aren't even rock genre...

Right now mine is 'Strange Brew' by Eric Clapton

My favorite tends to depend on my current mood. Currently, I guess:

"Who Wants to Live Forever?" - Queen

Runners up:

"Dreams" - Fleetwood Mac
"Dust in the WInd" - Kansas
"Hotel California" - Eagles
"Carry on Wayward Son" - Kansas
"Stairway to Heaven" - Led Zep

My favorite rock song is "Crazy For This Girl" by Evan & Jaron.

Come to think of it, I like most of the pop-rock music from the 90s.

What is considered rock these days isn't what was considered rock twenty or thirty years ago; or even ten years ago, for that matter. What is considered rock (and metal) now is far better in my opinion than what it used to be.

On topic, though: I don't really have a favorite, but according to my iTunes library statistics of my most played songs, Bring Me To Life by Evanescence is my most played rock/metal type song.

I don't really have an absolute favorite, the music I listen to changes quite a bit. I guess if I have to choose though...

Smashing Pumpkins - "Today"

or...

Radiohead - "How To Disappear Completely"

Bohemian Rhapsody of course. It is the sole definition of why the 70's had some of the best music ever! :D My other favourite that's not on there has to go to Sweet Child O' Mine - Guns N' Roses 8)

I notice most of what the OP had was of a hard rock/classic rock leaning type of "rock". That being said, how do Franz Ferdinand and Phantom Planet qualify?!? It's kinda weird if you ask me!! (Though the Phantom Planet song IS the best on the list IMO)

Ana Ng is one of my top favorites, as well as other stuff by They Might Be Giants.
But I'd also have to add stuff by Devo, such as Whip It, Fresh, and What We Do.

Bill, otherwise known as Kraichgauer
