I'm very heavy myself, so it would be hypocritical of me to reject women who are overweight. In fact, more often than not, I tend to be attracted to women with "more to love", but I am open to women of all sizes. Obviously anyone I dated at the moment would have to be willing to date someone of my weight, though I am currently working to lose it.

Darn you. I'm saying that 6 on that chart is too big for me. I'll go above 130, which is huge to me, but only if she meets other requirements.

I'm interested in knowing where your most recent dates fall on the chart.

First was a 5, second was a 2.

Couple of questions here:

How many pounds difference do you think there is between a 5 an a 6?

Let's say you marry your 2. She has a couple of babies and is now a 6. Then what?

Wait...better yet now you're a 6 after a few years of marriage. Now what?

Now I'm interested in knowing

A. How tall they were.

B. If you ever weighed them.

They'd have to be pretty damn skinny to weigh less than 130lb at that height.

But you said before that you would consider 130lb huge.
Do you have no middle ground between skinny and huge? Did you perhaps mean 130kg?

Exactly what I thought a few pages ago!! According to my doctor at 4'11" I should weigh about 120lbs. So I cant imagine 5'9" and 130lbs. Sounds gaunt and sickly. 130 is my goal weight. That's the weight I look best.

I wouldn't say gaunt and sickly... I'm 5'6 and less than 110 lbs and look healthy :P

Having said that, I too have been a bit confused by Shawn's standards...

i got to wondering about people's opinions regarding obesity, and who they would date. i suspect that the medical definition of obese is a different from the popular culture definition.

1. which one of these bodies qualifies as obese in your opinion (not morbidly obese, just obese)?

2. which one is the biggest size you would date?

please DO NOT snark on the pictures as people here on WrongPlanet actually look like all of these silhouettes. i see that people have been respectful in the thread so far, and that is very much appreciated - it is fine to have a preference, just don't be nasty about whichever types that you don't prefer.

I'm somewhere between a 1 & 2 for males, so I'd comfortably go as high as 4 for females.. MAYBE a 5.. possibly.

I had second thoughts when I typed that comment... my apologies. When I thought about it I realized that at my height and my weight I sound like an oompa loompah but I'm not. I'm curvy in all of the right places. I weighed 110 when I was in my 20's and I looked nice at that weight as well. It's all about proportion.

When I met my partner I was about a 4, him a 5.
18 years later, we would be a 6 and 8.
Both trying to lose it for health reasons, but he has never become unattractive to me.
I was originally attracted to him as a person, not simply his looks.

That's really exactly the truth of it. a "heavy" person can still be really hot so long as the heaviness isn't situatated in the jowls and stomach exclusively.. as long as it's proportional.. thats why I said a 5 maybe... cause I've seen some who would qualify as 5s that are still nice looking. A lot of it also depends on how they take care of themselves.. if theyre sloppy then eh..
