Thanks...but the reason for this post was to get opinions from women about my face...

It means I have no idea how to properly "evaluate" a face.
You don't look deformed or sickly or anything of that nature.

Alright well that is the first time I have heard someone say they don't know how to evaluate a face...usually people just say yeah your good looking or no you aren't. You could take my hat off and put it on a donkey and it would still look good because if you like my hat...it is a separate thing from me. Did you mean that the hat looks good on me or did you just take me out of the equation altogether and said only the hat itself looks nice? haha

I meant I like your hat (from the first picture you linked- I have one similar that's quite warm), and you strike me as "normal"-looking.
I shouldn't have commented- I had no intent to derail your thread.

You look quite tall. That's a plus with a lot of women, no?

Yeah I like my hat too. I know it was not your intent to derail my thread, but I clearly am serious about getting honest opinions about how I look. I should not have pressed you. I should have realized right away that commenting only on my hat = not handsome at all or average-looking, which you just mentioned.

My idea of handsome is someone who reads Chomsky and can quote Locke. :lol:
By "normal" I didn't mean "average", I meant you don't strike me immediately as what most people would consider bad looking,
which I meant as a compliment.

Now, please, someone else come along and post a better opinion, now that I've made a mess of things. :oops:

I'm actually an avid reader...and I can quote those authors along with countless others. It seems that you might have assumed I am not a reader of Chomsky or Locke based on my photos??? I am so confused right now. I am sorry. I don't mean to seem like I am attacking you. I was asking if women think I look good or not...this isn't a thread about my interests and whether or not women on here share specific interests with me.

You might want to go to the site http://hotornot.com/ That way you can get hundreds of women to vote.

You are much too young...but I would say you should have no problem getting some good votes.

If you want a totally honest feedback from women, you should try a different forum, some forum which is female-dominated, maybe some lifestyle-type of forum, members there are more likely to be harsh and very looks-oriented (shallow), but they'll tell what they really think in the harshest way imaginable.


You wouldn't get honest feedback here unless you're handsome, then they would tell you your handsome. They wouldn't feel embarrassed to tell you this truth, but any other truth they would be too embarrassed to say it, WP is a community forum after all.

Besides, tastes here are atypcial and not much representative of the real world.

No, I was providing examples of the types of characteristics on which attraction for me is based, those being non-aesthetic in nature, in an attempt to assuage a miscommunication. I don't feel "attacked", merely pointing out that I don't know what women think of you. :lol:

I don't mean to come off as rude at all...but what does being too young have anything to do with being good looking or not? Do you mean I look too young for you personally or do I look young for all ages? 8O

I read once that the system of this site gives unrealistic good scores.

I'v put a pic there once and checking it after a week it was 8.9/10 based on 40s of votes - c'mon.

This site is to make people feel good and keep them coming back, but not for getting honest assessment out of the majority.

Funny, that i tried a not-famous site (with the same concept) and I recall I got a very low score for the same photo, like 4/10 or 3/10.
