theres a difference between friend and friendzone. The latter means they want to upgrade to boyfriend status but you wont let them

Ah now I understand what friendzone means.
I've never friendzoned anyone because I feel bad if I couldn't reciprocate their feelings and I feel like I'm leading them on if I keep them as friends so I just cut them off completely.
And if someone wanted to friendzone me I would just leave them alone and would not have anything to do with them.
Needless to say I have no male friends.

I've friendzoned girls before it's called not being physically attracted to someone.

Yes, that's right. At the time they became my friend, I was friend-zoning them.

For me, I will friend-zone someone if I am not interested in them as a potential lover like I am not attracted to them physically or there personality but there ok to hangout with. Often times the boundaries between friends and more then friends are really not all that clear for opposite sex friendships. It gets confusing. I will end up friend zoned a lot too. Sometimes people friend zone people, if they dont have a specific criteria that they want in a significant other such as religion.
