Unless I am such an oddball to think that men would not willingly accept let’s say having 7 sex partners when they can easily have as many as they want. That is a curiousity in itself for me.

Someone with some preconceived idea is skewing it like always.

I'm personally curious about the figures from China as when I was over there, nearly a decade ago, nobody really knew who was dating whom and they were cracking down on the brothels. It's also a nation where talk of physical intimacy isn't particularly encouraged and the courtship seems to still be pretty old-school and allow for everybody involved to pretend not to notice if they're not interested in an effort to help folks save face.

OTOH, Iran not being on the list probably explains why my wife is so backward minded when it comes to these matters. She's convinced that everybody is getting Turkey level of action.

Umm... actually, yes they are. They are two people having sex and the other person is considered one's partner for said sex. Doesn't mean they're in a relationship, but, for technical definition's sake.. yes, they are in fact a sexual partner.

That is exactly one of the points I was getting at. Some people would think they are and some people would not. In the US everyone someone has had sex with would be counted as a partner. It is probably language related. The list is in English. The research was most definitely in different languages. I’m like the only person that can see such things, ha, ha
