My brother and I talked about all our wacky family stories yesterday.
People would think we're all insane.
It's not us though.
It's always the periphery folks who leach onto us.
(Or, my grandfather's sister lol .... You should see her mansion. It's a historical site.)

The newest story is about my adopted son's bio mother.
Not only did she abandon him for drugs and live with her pimp named Diamond.
Not only has she been in prison or MIA for 20 years.
Not only did she inherit a huge house but use it to sell Fentanyl.
Not only did someone turn her in, and cause cops to seize the house.

Now she struck and killed that person with a stolen car, on purpose.
She's on the run again.

That's awful.

Most of the bad things in my case involved actual family members - grandparents, uncles, that sort of thing. I don't have any contact with them anymore, not that I ever had much.

I suspect that my ex is guilty of a lot more stuff than I've shared previously, but I'd better not talk about it openly.

When I say she might have murdered them for money, that's just the accusations.
I assume she likely married them for money.
The murders could have been the result of abuse.
Maybe they weren't murdered at all, but their deaths seemed suspicious.
Maybe she was framed.
Who knows.
It's easy to speculate she killed for the money, but that would be pretty damned obvious.
Doing it twice, successfully?
Unless she was a brilliant psychopath, I don't think that would have been easy.
I like to imagine they were beating her, or running around with other women.
She fought back and clubbed them with a fry pan.

Most of this stuff becomes self-evident on the first date.

Once, I fainted when I was in the ER with my son who was having complications from a tonsillectomy. They put me in a bed next to his.

I faint on occasion. I also play the pianoforte, study languages, and sketch a little.

I've posted it before but I thought it was relevant here. I made it about two years ago for MR as a self-deprecating joke. I wanted to show him that I understood how hard it must be to date me, and that I appreciated all his patience being with a whack-job. He doesn't like when I think of myself like a freak, but he did get a good laugh at it.

Maybe it's time I make another.

I have five cats. The two kittens sleep on my chest or curl around my neck every time I lie down. Macbeth does like MR quite a bit though. Maybe I'll be wearing "cat" instead of "cats", as a result.



On my first date with BF2 he told me that his aunt murdered four of her daughters by hanging them while the husband was at work. She hung all five but the youngest and lightest baby survived. Then she rang her husband and said "I think you should come home now". She was in a psych ward for about 20 years and they stayed married. When she got out they had more children. You know, Catholicism is like that sometimes.

I had to wear braces (on my teeth) for 3.75 years when I was a kid.

I was told I needed braces when I was 13 years old, but the braces offered on the national health service were known to be ugly and ill-fitting, so I declined them, even though it would have been of no cost to me.

I later had braces in adulthood in my late twenties (invisalign).
