I'm curious if anyone here has ever had a blind boyfriend/girlfriend or if anyone is blind and their experiences of love. I would assume that it's easier for Autistic people to date and flirt with a blind person because they can't notice our awkward body language and facial expressions as much.

But then, people ought to be very clean, clean and soft skin, clean and soft hair and all.

No body or facial expression, yes.
But what about the vocal, what about the touch, the taste, everything which is not visual?

Didn't I see a story last year about a dude that blinded a women with acid or something, and then they ended up falling in love with each other?

I think it would be really cool to date someone blind. Not because it would be easier on a social misfit like me, but they would have a completely different perspective on life. I really enjoy somebody that challenges me in a new way. And I could probably get away with sticking a 'kick me' sign on her coat without her being any the wiser. :)

I am extremely nearsighted. I'm NOT legally blind & I do not walk with a cane or wear dark sunglasses but my vision is to bad for me to drive & my vision is one of the main rezone I was able to get on disability but I have worked in the past but have problems finding a job. It's also one of the rezones why I do not have an official AS diagnoses even thou I'm almost positive I have it; the docs thought some of my problems/issues may of been caused by my vision so the OP does have a very valid point about the facial expressions thing. After I graduated high-school I spent 6 months at a training center for people with are blind or have vision problems to learn life skills & stuff. I got along well with the people there but most of em were older so that might have something to do with it. It may also of been cuz they had a disability. I find people with disabilities in general to be more accepting of me because they are used to being the underdog with lots of things. I would not mind dating a blind woman & in some ways I would probably stand a much better chance with someone who is blind. The only people who are physically attracted to me are gay guys; women tend to think I look like a creepy psycho or something. I live in a rural area with no public transportation so it's extremely unlikely that I'll meet anyone who's blind around me.
BTW I don't know of anyone on WP who is blind or has major vision problems. I could be wrong about this but I feel like I am the blindest member here or at least one of the very top active members

Yeah, I wear contacts or glasses or I couldn't see far either.

Sounds like you need a dose of self confidence. I doubt you are creepy looking, for one gay guys are usually more picky than girls. You are going to have to learn not to defeat yourself before you reach the starting line. I have that same issue sometimes.

I wear glasses for distance stuff but my vision is still very bad & it's better if I don't wear em for close stuff so I mostly wear em for work(when I was working), going to movies or school(before I graduated) easier for me to do everything up close. I think my eyes may look odd or something because of the way I look at things & maybe that gives off some creep impreision along with not smiling or expressing the appropriate emotions on my face. I think gay guys like me because I give off a gay vibe; I have some fem interest & I'm kind of sensitive; I suspect they are probably hit on most guys who they think might could be gay. You are very rite acout the confidence thing but even when I have confidence it doesn't help; confidence makes me arrogant & I have more problems
