This is a real woman:

But here is where you will end, very very likely, if you're not selective and careful:

Ugh... this made me jump. I made it through less than a second. Call me crazy, but I don't think anyone on the spectrum requires help spotting people to keep their distance from, and when things go that far south, we get the hell out by any means necessary. I know because I've been there, and I've been backed into a corner farther than that poor woman. I don't think this is a fair shake. We don't know the context, other than the fact that those people were NOT meant to be together. I for one am, if anything, vastly too selective in who I take interest in. That's why I've had some fun dates in my life. You underestimate your peers.

What's more, that hideous situation can't have been improved by the guy sitting there recording it. I'm an open internet zealot, and this is why some days, I can't stand YouTube to an even greater degree than Facebook, or, may Dante decide its' fate, 4chan. That was none of our damn business, and I've never fancied any particularly politically-minded girls anyway.

You have a point but these are two extremes here - which is to say opposing ends of the spectrum of people who respect you and people who don't. There's a middle ground, so just because you don't have/get someone who cares all about every little thing in your life, doesn't mean you end up with someone who doesn't respect you or screams at you etc. I would agree women should have that instinct / mentality, and minimizing someones issues away is probably not a good thing to bring into a relationship. But there's probably simpler and more obvious reasons not to choose just any partner, and yeah it has to do with their mentality. Shallow women in general are a real no for me because you're never allowed a moment of weakness (of any kind) because that will either result in a real relationship problem, breakup, or just being told to "man up", but I wouldn't have needed someone to tell me that. There's other things for people to avoid and probably some things that are specific to them that they avoid to try to minimize certain issues, and it's definately not necessary to date only women who believe in mens rights - that'd be a pretty narrow dating field :P. I realize that's not the point you're trying to make, I'm just saying some of this is obvious.

I have that feeling too that something is missing there for the context. It's pretty disturbing and is maybe a poor example of some extreme case where someone doesn't respect you. Part of the context is missing too because it's not very comprehensible.

I'm just thinking the point was made based on the idea that you could end up with someone that doesn't respect you or something like that. Maybe I missed the point or vid #2 is not a clear / good example.

Yes, the huge majority of women prefer to dispute Jerry Springer style.

We also answer any criticism with " b#tch, you don't know me" :shameonyou:

...okay, that second video is nearly as uncommon as you seem to think it is (at least in my family). The woman mentioned something about an anxiety attack, which shouldn't be taken lightly. I mean, yeah, she was going crazy, but the dude seems kind of like a dick, and more importantly, it's what people do. PEOPLE GO CRAZY. It's a fact of life, and even more so for Autistic people and people with anxiety disorders like this woman here.

Right, a pretty narrow field. But, as George Washington said, it is better to be alone than in bad company.

Call me crazy again but I base no decisions on those of anybody who owns a luxury SUV.

why couldn't the cad just take her to the f*****g lake? what a lack of imagination on his part. he could have dropped her off there, gotten his sillyassed chores done then rejoined her, or he could've done the f*****g chores another time? with millions of people like him, no wonder our divorce rate is through the roof. call me naïve but a husband is supposed to support his wife! for better or worse.

^ This.

The poor woman was probably driven half crazy by his asshat attitude, when he started filming her.

And, I second what somebody already said.... what on earth is that daft hick going on about anyway ?
He needs to get his tyres rotated !?!? Seriously, just.... what ??

1) if you watch the video carefully, you realize that:
(a) she already paid for the boat rental and
(b) he is claiming that they can't go to the lake because he needs to get the tires rotated and
(c) she asks why they can't go to the lake after he gets the tires rotated which
(d) he completely ignores
(e) she asks him to stop for cigarettes which he refuses stating "i don't have to do anything"
(f) she says she is having a nervous breakdown and he laughs about it saying "it's not my fault"
(2) because of the above, I believe that he set her up
(3) that video, imo is an example of an abusive male humiliating an already suffering female.

I agree.
I find that video very uncomfortable to watch, for the reasons mentioned by Flanmaster.
The guy is obviously deeply unpleasant.

So... what was the purpose of this topic ?
