Hi, first post here.

I should of done something like this long ago! (I'm now 29).

I seem to be struggling with relationships and friends more later in life than i used to. In a way (maybe this is common for us) i genuinely considering trying to find a fellow aspie for friends or relationship.

So curving to my original reason for posting, i ask;
- Surely there's better ways (or even A WAY) to get out there and meet fellow aspies?
- Would you condone/recommend aspie-aspie relationships over aspie-neuro-typical relationships?
- Tell me about yourself, your love life story adn your advice.

All appreciated,
Alex :o

There certainly do exist in-person support groups for people on the autism spectrum. Try looking on Meetup.com, and also try just Googling the name of the nearest major city followed by "Aspergers adult support group" or "autistic adult support group."

You shouldn't go there just to find a romantic relationship, though. Any women who attend are likely to be wary of guys hitting on them, given the high male-to-female ratio among people diagnosed with autism (under current understandings thereof).

As for Aspie/Aspie relationships vs. Aspie/NT relationships, see various older threads such as the ones here, here, and here.
