I need advice on how to learn refraining yourself from talking about things that I'd prefer to keep secret for me or I know talking about which could have negative consequences for me. Put in other words, how to learn talking only when necessary and keep some things at secret.

Move to Japan. They're grand masters of it over there, I say.

Learn by practising.

You don't necessarily need to not talk at all when not necessary, talk about literally anything but the things you can't talk about.

Just a reminder: under international law, an occupying power has no right of self-defense, and those who are occupied have the right and duty to liberate themselves by any means possible.

From my understanding, people who are autistic tend to be more forward and honest in their replies. I think acknowledging that while keeping the social context in mind is key. Also, you might have a strong sense of external empathy to the other person, so you might learn to steer conversations in certain ways.

Young me used to call it, "the benevolent benefactor". Always consciously aware of the full context of a situation, and gently nudging the conversation to a mutually beneficial end.

Note: Everyone does things differently! We're all unique! What works for me might not work for you. And that's deeply valid all the same!

Choose the people , You choose to confide in with great care, or default to silence . It maybe hard, but it may preserve you in a great many situations 8O .( "Especially" if engaged in any legal stuff .) :nerdy:
