i think this is my biggest problem on why i have no friends or a girlfriend. i know why though and its going to take friggin' years of therapy.
all of wich i dont feel like doing

I find it very difficult to trust people with more personal stuff (I have no problem trusting them with less important stuff). I'm told I was extremely trusting as a child; I learned the hard way I guess.

I think it is the other way around--- i used to be more trusting. I just never understood for the longest time that people are as *mean* as they are. I would "bend over backwards" to help anyone I considered a friens, not always knowing that they didn't consider me the same way. After so many times getting hurt, I trust less now. I guess that's a necessity in today's real world... but i don't like it. I would rather err on the side of caution these days and not trust anyone ( I do trust a few close people) rather than trust too much and risk getting hurt.

Years of having trust thrown in my face has taught me never to trust anyone and to expect that they will let me down. I realize this may seem bleak but that's the way it is.
