Do People Fear You?

My true friends are rarely surprised by my reactions, but the others find me a lot of impredictable. since i am always with a serious face, being tall and long haired, they think i'm a bad ass (specially if they've seen me loose my temper) even though i can't hurt a fly (i tryed and got my ass kicked).

I scared my sister once really badly...i still feel bad about that, and I don't think she's ever going to let me forget...

Now, I don't scare anyone, I don't think...but people keep telling me that I'm intimidating...the only guy who gave me a reason said that it's because of my lack of facial expression. I'm sorry, i just don't feel like smiling like a goon at everyone I see. I smile when i'm happy. Which is often. just not always.

I think people here at WP fear me now due to my short temper.

My family calls me mean looking. my sister said "you are hard"(meaning emotionally ruthless). My brother said people have commented on it.

I don't think I'm a very scary person...

Some people seem uneasy about me. Others think I'm smart, but shy. There are those who think I'm strange, and a few will say rude, callous, or irresponsible. Still others think I'm immature. So in light of all those labels, and not knowing which one is being cast on me by any given person at any given time, maybe the person who fears me the most...... is me.

apparently people are afraid of or intimidated by me .. the few that aren't .. scare the crap out of me! actually the few that i don't intimidate are of the bully persuasion .. the only time i seem to command any fear in them is if they bully someone other than me .. then look out! .. when its me being bullied (i hate it but) .. i tend to just withdraw, get all depressed and somehow manage to blame myself .. so then i feel like a piece of crap .. and some bully uses that against me .. i end up bullying my own self!
btw . .. i don't think i'm scarey at all .. in fact i know i'm quite harmless - Unless a bully is bullying someone (besides me).. specially a child or a senior .. or a kitten . . don't mess with my kitties! grrrrrrrr
.. sigh .. i know i intimidate a lot of people .. and it hurts .. cuz i have a good heart .. i hate being seen as some'thing' to fear ..

btw .. thanks for this thread .. i just today for the first time, saw those words - "i end up bullying my own self!" .. omg .. how could i have missed that personal truth for all these years? .. if i think its ok to bully me .. why shouldn't they think so too? . .. omg ..

ya .. and i am one of those who INSISTS on the truth .. saying one thing and doing another is not something i (can) ignore! .. so in a world that is 90% phoney .. i suppose the truth is a tad intimidating! ..

I don`t think people actully fear me, probably because i`m nice too everyone. When i respect them, they respect me.

The end of the world would be near if someone actually fears me!

Sometimes when I'm walking down the street, guys will make eye contact with me. I'll make eye contact back for a second and then look away which is the normal thing to do. However sometimes you look for a second time and they are still staring at me...I will then hold eye contact for a couple more seconds and it tends to start feeling aggressive between us. I always end it before someone really looks like they want to start something.

maybe it's because im 6ft 4 and heavily built like a tank and can take a hell load of punishment that people do fear me
plus my eyes go red when im angry giving me a demonic look.
plus i know how to strike fear into some-one
plus i have a berserk side where i dnt feel pain just anger and hatred at everyone
people that don't fear me end up with a broken nose or worse
thats how i am

i fight with my life in every fight
i took on 8 ppl because 1 of them called me a name i didnt like
but the people that i love have nothing to fear im a completely different person when im not "berserk".

people have feared me-evern though I'm tiny and completely harmelss-I guess they thought I was nuts

when folks get to know me they don`t fear me likea female friend saidonce i`m like a huge teddy bear don`t know if that is a good thing but it is better then folks fearing me.

but folks that don`t really know me tend to be a bit intimidated, i think that is a littel strange. i mean i have never been inn a figthe or anything remotly close to one. i never shout or you now make a loude voice. but still folks seem to be a bit intimidated. i really don`t like it i don`t wanna scare folks. But the one good thing is that i neve get inn trouble at partys and stuff.
personally i woude really like to know why folks find me scary cause i don`t think i look scary

A few people have told me that I scare them when I come out of nowhere to talk to them. Also, because I am too quite and nice on the surface. Even if I do have breakdowns, not every quite person snaps to the point of becoming a serial killer. It's actually kind of funny that taller people should be scared of me, considering how short I am

People say that I look "mean" and "intense" and that I "frown all the time and never smile."

But I'm really just a happy, jolly fat man with a weird sense of humor.

People don't fear me, I'm stupid as hell and never defend myself. I fear everyone else. Like I would fear aggressive animals in the wild. All people are animals, I'm just a weak pathetic animal. Inferior, lower on the food chain.
