Do any of you feel that because you all are who you are, you just can't get on with your life?

A perfect example is that I have done very few things today.

I was just curious as to whether this is a common trait that you all have.

I think that may be due to the AS and also for me due to other things like the OCD as well. I am supposed to be getting everything ready for my in-laws to come tomorrow for Easter yet I feel kind of overwhelmed and that makes me undecided as to what to do first. I have been told that is supposed to be part of chronic depression but I don't really buy into that. I think there are a number of things As related that contribute to that.

Well not to sound jealous but at least you have some body personaly that you can share things with. I also have OCD and I'm still fighting Major Depression. I've felt many times that I just couldn't give on with my life. I have little connection to friends and I don't feel like I have any connect at all with my parents. Either I'm pushing people away on propose or I do it without meaning to.

I feel the same way. Either it works out for my benefit, or it doesn't.

But, we have to deal with the fact that we are.

I've been in the proccess of getting on with my life, since I was in the Local Mental Health system, 8 years ago. Sometimes, it seems impossible, but I keep pushing myself to reach for the Sky.
