This thread "Decipher that social interaction" naturally led me to discuss language skills which I learned over the years by myself there. Those who are good at rhyming and punning and whose asperger's is not that severe can learn them.
You will find the discussion on

Many aspies are finding it difficult to believe them, they are not realizing that they have not been given the diagnoses of asperger's for no reason and this website is not called "WrongPlanet" for no reason

Actually being I am basically the epitome of AS as described by Hans Asperger, I do have a high verbal IQ and anything that would place my verbal skills "on par" with NT's would be a step down.

People with Asperger's generally have higher verbal IQ's as Chronos stated. You are obviously the one in the wrong.

Indeed. I am much better at linguistics and verbal communication than most people I know, and my skill in related areas has always been advanced.

I can learn a new language in a month, easy. I don't know any NTs who can do that. I prefer my way with language.

What I mean by "language skills" is the non-literal meaning. I have given plenty of examples there from my life.
