Wow! I LOVE RUSH!! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! Greatest band that ever lived (and I'm not just saying that because I'm Canadian), tied with Queen! This is a perfect song for people who don't fit in; it should be in a collection of aspie/autism theme songs. You have no clue how pissed I am that Rush hasn't been inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. They are probably one of the most talented bands in the world, but yet they're considered "not mainstream enough" to get in. But yet tons of people who aren't even rock 'n' roll (such as folk, jazz, blues, country, and black American music) have managed to sneak their way in over the years. The only Canadians in the Hall of Fame are crappy old folk fogeys which I either hate or at least don't really care for: Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Leonard Cohen (Totally useless! Ok, so Rush isn't mainstream enough but he is? That's just f***ed!), The Band (I guess they're ok, but I'm not really crazy about them), and maybe 1 or 2 others. Progressive rock (a genre which Rush is famous for) is highly underrated by the Hall of Fame and by most of society, even though it is one of the most brilliant genres there is and is very versatile and full of surprises. Drummer Neil Peart (the best friggin' drummer in the world!) says he couldn't care less about being inducted, but I still think he and the other Rush members (Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson) should be anyway.
