Social Learning

It's a lot harder to learn social things when you're about as far from being a social learner as it's possible to be while still being human (like me).
I'm just saying: It's not entirely our fault, guys!
I am only able to learn social things by observation; as soon as I'm forced into the conversation or activity, learning stops for me. This means that in my childhood, while adults and older kids were forcing me to participate socially and not allowing me to just observe, I was learning NOTHING.
At 27 years old, I am way behind -- but I've figured out that it's not entirely my fault (which means, to me, that I'm not beyond hope).
