Wishing I was working with people younger than me.
I'm the youngest in the team I work with. Most of us are in our 30s, one in their 40s and my assistant manager is 61.
I do know because they've talked about it, that three of the 30+ year olds have kids and partners and one is married so is the one in her mid or late 40s. Ian, my assistant manager from what he's told me that he has never married or got children but that for some reason doesn't reassure me, because probably wouldn't want to be at his age and still single.
I get on with my colleagues but I still feel left out because unlike them they've got what I've mentioned in their lives and a part of me wouldn't want to hang out with them unlike I would with someone else who is single and doesn't have those responsibilities.
