Home Depot has the nerve to put on "smoke and mirrors" about diversity, safety and communication
But almost everyone in the building has the same myers Briggs personality type
Not once have I heard anyone in leadership say "excuse me" instead of "huh" or "what"
They act like they are purposely going out of their own way to get me physically injured.
I've pretty much given up on trying to get a job for the time being because I hate having to bull**** my way through job interviews. Employers want someone who's basically like Spongebob Squarepants at the Krusty Krab - loyal to a fault, obsessed with the company's brand, and always eager to take on more work for less pay. The ideal employee they're looking for literally doesn't exist.
But almost everyone in the building has the same myers Briggs personality type (not "diversity"). granted, there are different ways to define and measure "diversity", but race and sex are just two examples. it is also correct that home depot could not hire anyone that does not apply for a job. (fine), and that only certain personality types are suited for retail, and, in particular, to work @ home depot. (fine). but then home depot should not be claiming "diversity").
Not once have I heard anyone in leadership say "excuse me" instead of "huh" or "what". (respect). and they do not say "could you please" instead of "can you".
instead of posting written instruction telling servants what to do, the leadership's method of communication: the grapevine. the leadership tells one servant what to do and tells that servant to tell the other servants. by the time the message gets to the other servants, the original message will have already gotten skewed, to say the least. ("communication").
home depot has the nerve to put on "smoke and mirrors" about inFocus and OurSafety, but they act like they are purposely going out of their own way to get me physically injured. ("safety"). five weeks ago, the former front end supervisor angela w had the nerve to tell me that even though i have had a doctors note that i am not allowed to lift over fifty pounds, since july 2021, "we have to revisit it." and that "you should" be able to lift more than fifty pounds if it's a team lift." (but nobody told me how many pounds maximum - 100 pounds? besides, sometimes customers have the nerve to demand that i lift the merchandise over my head or whatever.)
