I just noticed an interesting stat in the WP sidebar:

People Online:
Visitors: 1400
Members: 123

If ony 123 members were online when I copied the stats in the sidebar, then who are the 1400 visitors? Therapists? Students conducting research?

I think most will go along the lines of: accidental visitors, people drawn in by interest, people laughing at WP, people thinking WP is cool.. The usual reasons to visit websites.

But hopefully, a fair share of them will indeed be therapists, researchers and maybe even a few diagnosticians?

A lot of the people seem to be arriving at various pages of the site from google and yahoo searches.

I've lurked here a few times when this place opened but didn't register. Then I forgot all about it till I was shown it again and I wasn't interested in joining anymore aspie sites. Then a year later I decided to come back to the community so I registered here after browsing the forum for a few days and reading posts.
