Sometimes When I Play Dandy's World I Sometimes Find Russian Players On The Game. And Online I've Found Russian Dandy's World Fans, And Everytime I Find Someone Who Is Russian In The Dandy's World Community I Feel Uncomfortable Because I Know What's Going On In Ukraine And What Russia Is Doing. Can You Guys Tell Me If It's Strange Or Not I'm Afraid Of Russian People?

Hm, I do think that is definitely strange. Is it maybe their language and your lack of understanding of it? I know you mentioned "What's Going On In Ukraine And What Russia Is Doing" but not every Russian citizen is bad/evil nor is every Ukrainian good. I fear you may be somewhat streotyping for lack of a better word.

Also, your typing style on this post reminds me of Kanaya Maryam... is this purrposeful? :3

^ Remember though that Putin and his oligarchy doesn't resemble Russian people, like Trump doesn't represent all of the Americans. That way we should think of all Ukrainians as antisemitic fascists because of banderite movements (It ain't an excuse for Putin's rocket-assisted genocide, but that's another story)

There are very good decent Russians. Many oppose Putin, but are afraid to speak out as doing so could result in imprisonment or worse. Others actually support Putin but are indoctrinated by his propaganda machine.

I see Russians on sites such as Pinterest, and they're OK. I also see Russian boy wrestling contests on YouTube occasionally. I doubt many of them would be interested in Putin's war but will unfortunately probably be conscripted to fight when older.

That said it's probably quite normal for people from close to it's borders to be fearful.

But Russians on forums are just normal people who have the same interests as we might and the same goes for China.

My grandfather used to think all Japanese people were bad because he was around during WWII, but when he met my uncle's girlfriend who was from Japan, he began to rethink the whole "Japanese bad" thing.

I grew up in the 80s when there much anxiety and Russophobia about the Cold War and nuclear war, but that didn't stop me from thinking those little Russian nesting dolls are cute, even now. I've also watched the Soviet cartoon Nu! Pogodi!, and when I saw a plush toy of the wolf one time on Ebay I got pretty interested.

But I think stereotyping is just something humans naturally do and it's a sad, stupid genetic thing. I mean I live in Canada, I'm not fond of the USA and many Americans, Trump and RFK are insane old men, yet here I am on a website created in the USA. Canada having negativity towards the USA isn't a new thing either, there are really old Canadian political cartoons that show the USA as a tyrant or a bully, and Pierre Trudeau once said the USA was like a sleeping elephant and we feel every twitch and grunt that comes from it.

Did you ever watch the Russian animated kid's show Masha and the Bear? One of the best and most creative things to come out of Russia. And all the greatest ballets.
