I like the way the Dutch say sorry

It's like a really soft tone and it sounds absolutely genuine

And that's what I like

I must admit I'm better at distinguishing between northern accents than I am southern ones

I've been mistaken for Yorkshire on many occasions but it's usually by Scottish people

Technically I lived in Yorkshire briefly. Granted, a good portion of that happened during lockdown. I don't think I came out of it sounding particularly Yorkshire. I do quite like Yorkshire though, if I could move there again I would.

I used to live with a lot of girls from Leeds and Halifax and Hull (is Hull Yorkshire) when I was a youngster so I probably picked up a few bits from the accent back then

It was in a home I was in in St Helens and most of the girls were from Yorkshire for some reason

It was a massive place that was split up into different little houses
I liked it

I know Blackbrook (lived in Haydock for 9 years) but not the house.

I would say my accent is fairly neutral with a hint of scouse.

Yeah it was a big children's home in Blackbrook

Scouse has a bit of Irish with it sometimes I think
