The mine-cart sequence is kinda hard though...

But it is a LOT of fun!! !

On a semi-related note about the game's bosses I know that many people say the most epic battles are against Koloktos & The Imprisoned but I will actually put Levias above those 2 in terms of epicness and scale!

Why?

Well for starters, you fight Levias in the sky

Secondly, his battle BGM is very intense & bombastic compared to The Imprisoned and Koloktos!

Just an observation I made about this Zelda game...

EDIT:I just found out that Levias' battle theme was composed by Hajime Wakai which is VERY shocking because I thought Wakai was known for calm and quiet slow kind of music (Nintendogs)! !!

I honestly thought the Levias BGM was Mahito Yokota since he is more known for bombastic and intense stuff!

Kinda threw me for a loop there...

Actually the more I think about it, maybe having Hajime Wakai compose a flying boss theme isn't really that strange because of Starfox 64

I would think the actual fight itself would be like Andross in Starfox 64?

But instead of piloting a ship, Link is flying on a bird?

Unlocked a new mini-game based on the mine-cart sequence in the Shipyard of the Lanayru Sand Sea, it's pretty fun but challenging!! !

I decided to return to Zelda and am now exploring the Fire Sanctuary

EDIT: I will say despite all the faults Skyward Sword has, the game has some REALLY cool boss names!! !

What is your favorite boss name in TLOZ:SS?

How do I get past the second fight against Ghirahim?!?

I tried EVERYTHING including having 2 recovery fairies and the battle is STILL hard!! !

I know I'm supposed to attack him at his most vulnerable state but the question is...what exactly is Ghirahim's "most vulnerable state"?

Please help me!

Thanks in advance!! !

EDIT: I do not need any assistance with Phase 1 of the fight because I can easily get past that part without losing much health

It's Phase 2 I am struggling with!

Even though I have learned the boss' pattern

When he positions his swords, slash in a direction they're not blocking. When he leaps up, backflip away a few times. His sword will get stuck in the ground after a downward thrust. Attack him then. When he surrounds you with the projectiles, spin attack. When the projectiles come at you in a line, slash them parallel.

Thanks!! !

Part of what makes it hard is that there are no recovery items in the arena where you fight Ghirahim version 2!

What is the "magic number" of hits needed to defeat Ghirahim BTW?

Never mind I beat the boss!! !

All it took was using the spin attack technique
