Hi guys
My name is Jamie, I am 26 and diagnosed HFA, and keen to meet new people.

My interests are varied and change constantly, right now I am into learning about Buddhism (even though I am not a practising Buddhist)

Although i love talking about everything and anything really, I especially love learning about people's interests.

I try to be eco conscious and am a practising minimalist to lessen my burden on the environment.

I'm shy, enjoy to have a laugh and am loyal to all my friends.

Looking forward to getting to know you a bit more

-Jamie

Hello, sorry for spamming. This post is a little old. I'm 28 now but still looking to meet people for conversation.

I'm willing to learn more about your interests, perhaps we have some in common.

I was recently diagnosed with Autism Level 1 (without intellectual or language impairment). I've been pretty much a loner for most of my life, with the exception of a stint of great socializing and romance while in university.

I'm an introvert who likes cats and birds. I like coffee, quiet places, and hiking when I can manage it. I can handle up to 2 hours of socializing per day, before I feel drained. 3 hours max, if the conversation is really engaging and interesting. I don't particularly enjoy small talk.

I'm Buddhist, and I'm into meditation. I also like to read, and have a hobby being an amateur librarian. I also like classic Daoism, it's like my secondary religion, you might say.

I also have long-standing computer hobbies, but I decided to quit playing video games a long time ago, as I was spending too much screen time, with nothing really to show for it.

I'm from Canada, and I'm from the very flat prairies. It's a dry, windy climate. My skin likes that dry weather. I especially like the fall season, and sunsets. I also like winters, as long as the temperature stays above -10C. That's totally still enjoyable biking weather.

I'm heterosexual, but alas, my attachment style is the dismissive-avoidant style. My primary sense is that of touch, not sight. There's no cat alive that doesn't love me, pretty much. Cats run after me on a regular basis to get even more petting, because I wasn't willing to give all 10 minutes worth, which they were desiring. Dogs on the other hand sometimes dislike me.

My favorite Austistic heroes of the past are Paul Dirac, and Lord Cavendish. I have this geeky need sometimes to creatively investigate questions of science on my little "home lab" of Raspberry Pis, where I self-host many things. These self-hosting projects can sometimes take days or even weeks, but I'm good at putting them down for days at a time, taking things slow and relaxed. I have a knack for keeping it all fairly easy-to-maintain. I've learned to be less driven over the years through meditation.

I am into cooking, and prefer vegetarian food. I have no children, and I'm not very good with kids. I have a strict determination to not drink or do drugs, except for coffee - if that can be called a drug.

Hi everyone,

I'm a happily married guy in my early 40's and living America. I have high functioning autism. I mask my symptoms so well in public that I wasn't diagnosed until my 40's.

I’m not going through anything major but I don't have many friends. I'm hoping to meet someone for friendly conversation that might turn into an ongoing friendship over time.

I'm open to private messages, forum conversations, or general discussion. Ideally, if we get along, maybe we could even become mobile texting buddies down the road — just checking in periodically or trading a few messages a day.

A little about me: I'm pretty into nature, mental health, walks to clear my mind, current events, politics, history, and economics, and always up for a thoughtful discussion. I tend to get along best with people who are easy-going, a little outgoing, have a good sense of humor, and don’t take things too seriously.

Thanks for reading — feel free to say hi!

Hi there this is my very first post!
I’m 24 and have high functioning autism, and my husband is an Aspie (AuADHD).
I’m from New York, USA (what’s a kilometer?) I have zero social life- since like 2019… it’s also such a challenge being a lady!
I really would like to make one good female friend. I LOVE anything arts/crafts (drawing/coloring/crocheting/scrapbooking/etc), listening to music (Slowdive, Breaking Benjamin, Pink Floyd, Pendulum etc), gaming (I’m on PC, been a gamer my entire life ), cars (if you get my username then you get a cookie ), traveling, going to the beach and beachcombing (collecting sea glass, fossils, shark teeth, rocks), collecting Jellycat! I have an added soft spot for the whimsical, traditional things in life such as baking bread, doing housework, making tea (overall homemaker/homesteading)… I also like tarot, crystals, meditation, yoga and journaling. The list goes on and on…
I also have a passion for animals, nature and birdwatching… (bonus points if you also watch The Incredible Dr. Pol!) I’m currently reading The Life of Birds by David Attenborough and it’s such a fantastic read so far!!
Oh! I’m also a former USAF Airman, served during the pandemic and got out due to health and personal reasons.
Sorry for the ramble and thanks for the read! Hoping I can find my gal pal!
