Hello,

I'm from Scotland and was diagnosed with Autism a year ago, at age 51. Life has been a bit of a rollercoaster since then but I'm starting to accept my autism now.
I fill my days with looking after my local crow family: mum Trentina, dad Russell, and their 3 offspring named Josh, Joshina and Black Sabbath. I feed them and always have 2 bowls of fresh water for them to drink from and bathe in.
Wild swimming is something that's great for my mental health and to keep my never satisfied brain happy I learn new languages and information to do with psychology and neurology.
The child in me is a huge Elmer the Patchwork Elephant fan. Elmer is kind, happy and cheeky. Something that I am too and I hope to meet more kind, happy and cheeky people on this forum.
Have a wonderful day and thanks for reading. :sunny:

 Have you been hanging around my bride?!

Some of the local crows have learned that if they go to the front of our house and "caw" for service then she or I might be persuaded to come out and feed them some of the peanuts my bride stockpiles for the local critters.

There are quite a few squirrels that will ambush us if we are outside the front of our house. They want peanuts! There have been times where I wanted to go somewhere in my car but was pestered so much by the squirrels that I'd go back in and get my bride to come out and feed the squirrels...creating a diversion for my escape.

Some cardinals and blue jays have figured out that if they are quick they can snag a peanut before anyone else gets it.

There are two bunnies that have befriended my bride, too. My bride gets them carrots.

P.S. Welcome to WP! I hope you like it here.

Welcome to you and your Crows for being onto Wrong Planet, Had over the years learned to caw , and learnt some of the patterns of Cawing . But they can be rather cagey birds, I have found.. But certainly enjoy them too.
A Murder of Crows.. :D

Thank you for your welcoming messages. It took me a while to figure out how to respond to your comments, apologies! Good to see there are more crow/wildlife/NIN fans on here.

Maestra Ninfan,

No stress, your participation here is completely voluntary, no "have-to's" or "by-this-time's", if you want to scream you'll find people here to do so alongside with you. if you want to learn, many more astute than myself are present here in the forum or if you just want to hang out and share experiences... Welcome that's why most of us are here. :)

ps: your innate interest in communication/languages is of great value, but as in my case, it is also why I personally struggled with my diagnosis a long time. :)

kind regards,
Kada
