I'm just curious about what are some of the random things that people just can't stand, but for particular reason. Like it just gets on your nerves, and maybe you can't even figure out why.

For example: two things I hate are cereal and Family Guy.

Cereal is just gross. It has to be eating submerged in milk, which is weird enough; but then it gets all soggy and gross and just makes me want to gag just thinking about it.

I could never stand Family Guy: ever single character character on that show is annoying. Quagmire is disgusting. Cleveland is a racist caricature. Joe exists so the show can frequently make fun of disabled people. Peter and Chris are so dumb they shouldn't have even survived more than 5 minutes. And don't get me started on that ridiculous dog. He does typical dog things like peeing on hydrants but then goes around having philosophical conversations. How does that make any sense? I felt personally vindicated when I heard the show killed him off.

Does anyone else have anything you just can't stand? I think it could be fun to hear about it.

They don't have to; I always eat them dry

Some shows aren't supposed to make sense, even the opposite (Examples from where I am: Generał Italia, Kapitan Bomba) and that's their point. I haven't watched Family Guy tho.

I know. But I don't like it dry either.

I remember a show on Adult Swim called Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Even the title doesn't make any sense. Point is, I don't get why such shows exist or why people like them so much. They're just plain stupid and annoying.

Matter of preferences, methinks. Personally I love random 'n' absurd stuff.

Monkeys. I can't explain why. I'm an animal lover and love all animals but I just don't feel the same empathy towards monkeys. Maybe because they're too human-like, or display too many human behaviours for animals. I know rats display human behaviours too, but they're cute. Monkeys are the only animals that are ugly, even the cute baby chimps just irritate me and I don't know why. I don't feel they're as attractive as other animals.

Let's see , besides the usual things that might aggravate my misophonia , I dislike the sound of roosters crowing , plus the front man of Rascal Flatts . His voice grates on me , like nails on a chalk board . Really , to some extent or another , I dislike bro-country .

The idea of dipping a chocolate cookie in a glass of milk. Does the tiny bit of milk that actually remains on the cookie, once it's removed, actually somehow enhance the taste of the cookie? There is NO way that such a thin film of a bland tasting liquid could enhance the taste of ANY cookie, but dipping cookies in milk apparently is quite popular.

Instead, why not take some bites out of that cookie, then DRINK the milk?

Another thing I can't stand is women (and the occasional man) bringing their babies and toddlers into a store or mall, but the feet are NOT covered. Are these parents too damn lazy to cover their babies' grubby-looking feet? I see them barefoot in restaurants, too. The "no shoes, no service" rule should be enforced for babies and especially toddlers.

I don't care HOW HOT it is outside. These are INDOOR, air-conditioned places. Furthermore, I see those disgusting bare feet even in colder weather. Lazy parents. Nobody wants to see your baby's feet. Get over yourself.

Polo shirts. Especially when people have one or two buttons done up. Agh! Either do them ALL up or have them ALL undone!
And if the top button isn't meant to be done up then why is it there to begin with?

I haven't worn a polo shirt since my last PE class at school. I had all the buttons done up on mine.

Actually, people CAN help talking loud or breathing heavy (unless they have a lung or some other disease, which often, they do NOT).

People who claim they "can't help" their loud talking are full of BS. They'll somehow, someway manage to talk quietly when in church, at a funeral, in court or at the opera. We have 100% control over the volume of our voices. I'm sure these same people would somehow, someway, manage to talk in a whisper if they were by a sleeping baby.

One time an employee at Whole Foods was speaking in a loud booming voice to me regarding my complaint. I told him outright not to talk so loud, that his voice was "booming." He apologized and immediately lowered the volume.

As for heavy breathing, this can be a habit without any cause by an illness. A habit can be broken.

As for snoring, this can be remedied with a number of tactics including change of body position, those "Breathe Right" strips, surgery to remove excess pharyngeal tissue, or, if sleep apnea is diagnosed, a CPAP machine (though I understand why someone wouldn't want to use this machine).

I dislike cartoons that have been drawn in a - in my opinion - ugly way, like Family Guy or the Simpsons. I cannot watch either, no matter how good they are according to others.

It's chimpanzees I don't like. They give me the heebie jeebies. I can't imagine why anyone would think they're cute.

As for polo shirts, I have to wear them for volunteering. I wear two buttons done up. I can't do up the top one because then my shirt would strangle me!

I've always tried avoiding places where polo shirts are a required uniform. I don't know what makes collars and three buttons so formal, when a t-shirt (one without collars or buttons) would be just as suitable.

Can't you have all buttons undone?

Haha, I do up the two buttons because I don't want to show my cleavage!

I also have to wear an apron and having a collar helps because I tuck the neck strap underneath it so then it's not chafing my neck.
