On one hand I like rules and structure if they make sense to me. For example, not running out in the middle of traffic on a busy road, not yelling fire in a crowded place, laws protecting children from predators, and regulations on handling food safely. Meaning, rules that are in place, so harm isn't brought to others because of another's actions.
On the other hand, if a rule or law doesn't make sense to me, makes life harder, or possibly may cause harm those things should be questioned in my view. From my own experience, I've had a bit of a proverbial target on back a few times because of questioning conventional wisdom.
