All others, I plain and simply don't know

For some reason that cracked me up, probably because sean is the only one on a list.

(Don't get me wrong, I like Sean, he is one of my favourite members.)

I try to avoid 'hating' anyone. I do get annoyed though when I KNOW I'm right and the other person refuses to accept it. I'm not just talking about opinions: although it would be nice for people to agree with my opinions, and whilst sometimes I have trouble when they don't, I understand that this is ok. However, when I adamently know that the plural of prophecy is prophecies, not prophesises, I will stick to my guns. *grins* I had a debate with my year 11 English teacher about that one for several months until the year 10 English teacher proved me right!

No, but I think my patience gets stretched a little farther with opposite-minded people, especially if they proclaim something so contradictory to my own thoughts, simply because it takes more energy to understand them.

Thus, more E used => less patience.

I hate it when people play devil's advocate under the guise of "expending my views." I do better doing research on opposing views on my own time rather than having it shoved down my throat when all I want to do is speak my mind. I'm not a big fan of debate because I just get flustered.

I often feel insulted if someone tries to play devil's advocate on me because I am so used to doing it myself. I almost would like to say "Could you please shut up right now. I do devil's advocate on my OWN. I don't need your help!"

I don't hate them. It sometimes irritates me immensely if they have very strong opinons based on prejudice or jumping to conclusions without adequate information. People who are religious and feel the need to shove it down my throat, too, bug me. I have my own beliefs and I don't foist mine onto them- it's about respect.

I have such strong opinions that if I were to hate or even dislike everyone who thought differently, I'd use up all my energy on that!! I used to be more intolerant but over time have mellowed into more of a "live and let live" mindset.

Generally, I can appreciate that everyone's different, and I certainly don't feel that I'm always right (au contraire, I tend to have too little confidence in my views and whatnot). But there are certain attitudes that really get to me.
