I also specifically DIDN'T say anyone was f****d up or needed medication. What I actually said was, if they were already on medication they might need to consider changing the dose, but I couldn't tell in which direction. My (hopefully humourous, but possibly not) point being that the whole thread wasn't making a lot of sense to me. [I didn't specifically mention this - my bad - but as it happens I'm also not a Doctor and so wouldn't wish to give out serious medical advice anyway.]
Having said all that I'm an Aspie, so a lot of stuff doesn't make sense to me. It could be that the entire thread was constructed out of quotes from a movie or movies I've never seen, for example. So it was also an opportunity to post an explanation that didn't revolve around meds, but none was forthcoming.
P.S. edited to say, furthermore it was also an attempt to lighten the mood. Because the closest movie I could think of was Gran Torino, and that doesn't entirely end well for the lead character.

I'm not going to take it to heart, 'cos I know what I meant the first time.
I can't get too precious about medication when I've been on a fair old cocktail meself over the years. From that point of view I thought it was an "in joke" with the possibility of more serious debate if anyone wanted. But if not, ah well
