I just saw this today and I have to say it's excellent. All the actors in the film do a great job. Michael Cera is especially good. There are a lot of references to video games, which amuses me. The soundtrack of the film is well done too with the in-film bands' songs.

It's really funny and there are a lot of good comedic lines. The whole premise of the movie in and of itself is amusing. The way they work video game logic into the movie is funny as well. Michael Cera's lines and delivery as Scott Pilgrim are good throughout the movie. There's a twist on 8-bit games and going to the bathroom that I especially liked.

There are quite a few bizarre scenarios in the movie and the audio-visual stuff gets pretty surreal at times. It's quite interesting. I'd highly recommend it.

Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World was easily the best comic book adaptation I've ever seen. There were lines and gags taken straight from the comic, and the entire cast nailed the characters perfectly.

I liked the comic book type framing in some of the shots. During the fighting scenes especially. And when he defeats people that they turn into coins. That was a nice touch, I thought.

Now I'm trying to figure out if I can get my hair those colors...

I've only seen the trailers & commercials of it but Scott Pilgrim seems kind of like an Aspie to me. Extremely socially awkward, obsessive interest & there wer some other things about him

Naa. He's just a bit clueless, absent minded, delusional and has a terrible memory.

I'm definitely seeing this movie. Apparently it's not faring too well in the American box office, despite good reviews. A mindless nostalgic star vehicle like The Expendables is beating it! It's a travesty.

I have no doubt that Scott Pilgrim will do well with DVD sales and all that, but I'd like to see Edgar Wright rewarded for his hard work and talent by some more gross earnings. I mean, technically it's an extremely difficult film to make, and he did it as well as anyone could have, from what I hear.

The movie looks like what if Adam West depicted the Apocolypse...

I'm not surprised it's doing bad. It seems like most of it's fans would be dorks & geeks; people like us 8O I haven't seen many adds for it either in my area

I want to see this movie sometime soon, it looks interesting. I can't believe that a movie with a bunch of washed up old dudes (Expendables) and a movie with Julia Roberts (Eat Pray Love) made so much more money than this movie :? Maybe everyone is just sick of Michael Cera...

This was the best movie that I've seen all year. It is too bad that this movie isn't doing as well as it should, since I would like to see more movies with its style of humor. Hopefully the DVD and Blu Ray sales will show the hollywood executives that there is an interest for this type of movie.

Opened really low--because only the cool kids saw it and there's not too many of us...

The current thinking though, is that it'll have some legs--repeat viewings, word of mouth, etc. Bad idea opening against the Expendables, but sometimes you don't have a choice. Not sure how to start a word of mouth campaign, but would if I could...
