I do. Currently, it is Central Asia (the 'Stans).

I have had this fascination long before Borat came around. My favorite country is Turkmenistan and its leader, Sapuramat Niyazov (aka "Turkmenbashi"--Father of the Turkmen people). He died just this morning.

This guy renamed the month of January after himself--thus, my dad's birthday is the 25th of Turkmenbashi. He banned gold teeth, demolished homes to create grand boulevards and large busts of himself. He closed all hospitals and schools outside of the capital, Ashgabat. And to get a driver's license or a job there, you would have to pass a test based on a book called "Rukhnama", which is basically a book of Turkmenbashi's personal beliefs.

I actually found this guy funny (in sharp contrast to say, Idi Amin or Saddam Hussein), like about renaming the month of January, and "Rukhnama" being required reading.

Southeast Asia, with a focus on Japan. Oriental culture has always been a fascination of mine; the beliefs are so foreign to the European-style customs I was raised with, and I can relate to many of the morals and customs of the people of those countries.

Not to mention I'm an avid gamer/anime lunatic. I can't even watch most American cartoons anymore because they disgust me.

Yes, I have had obsessions with religions, to the point that it caused me a lot of problems.

Regions, not religions. These are specific places in the world, not beliefs held by groups of people. Though, certain religions are confined to specific regions.

On another note, I took an interest in religions over the summer, and spent my whole summer researching them. In the end, I came out with the realization that none of them are even remotely correct.

I've been fascinated with the Mediterranean region, particularly the part that is now Israel, although Spain, Italy, and Greece are a part of it too. It's amazing how many nice things the area has. The food is amazing, the weather is beautiful, and the girls are absolutely gorgeous. The Mediterranean region rocks!
