This has happened to me twice now:

1. Woman in long term relationship tells her friend she fancies me more than her boyfriend
2. The rumor goes round everyone
3. When I approach her about it she acts like none of that ever happened

Why can they never approach me about it if they feel that way.... I wonder if they ever really felt like that at all or if they just want to lead me on.

Soooo many reasons. Way to much to explain.

Just never simply trust rumors. That's the most important.

I know I can't trust rumours but I also know how they start and it doesn't just happen for no reason. I want to know some of the reasons.

People enjoy talking sh*t, that's the reason.

Maybe the ladies found you more attractive than their boyfriends at the time, but before you confronted them, they had already made up their minds and decided to stick with their boyfriends. So when you actually confronted them, they had already moved on, and to prevent any further issues, they lied about their initial feelings.

Maybe? Honestly, I really don't know. Like Cafeaulait said, there are many reasons, and unless we're in that person's mind, we don't really know for sure.

They're probably just trolling you.
